Writer of Short Stories and Essays. An editor at 805 Literary and Arts Journal. A native Chicagoan, she lives in Southwest Florida where she is finishing work on a collection of short stories.
Julieanna Blackwell’s work has appeared in several publications including Lunch Ticket, Ragazine CC, and Thrice Fiction Magazine. Her stories have been featured in SCENE Magazine’s yearly beach read issues. She was a finalist for Florida Writers Association's Royal Palm Literary Awards. The Naples Daily News published her humorous column of personal essays. She is also an editor for 805 Literary and Arts Journal, the first literary journal published by a public library in the country.
